A few weeks ago, the Government of Navarra gave us the opportunity to do something useful in relation to everything that has happened with the pandemic situation in Navarra this year 2020. They offered us the possibility of doing what we know how to do: tell the story about it. So we devised an itinerant and automated interview system. In a small truck we build a set to do interviews. The stage, lighting, and filming equipment were fixed. It only changed what was seen through the window. With this mobile set we traveled through Navarra to meet real testimonies, where they had happened. The interview system emulated the famous Errol Morris interrotron, so that the characters spoke directly to the camera and without having physical contact with our team. The result is having a fabulous reception on social networks. You can see it here. This project has been possible thanks to the collaboration of Marcial Etxeberría -who built the set designed by Pablo Iraburu-, Potsdam Deco -which provided the props- and the Museum of the University of Navarra -which gave us a hand in choosing the stage color-. But above all it has been possible thanks to the enormous generosity of the people interviewed. The entire set was at the service of recording their testimony, and all of them did so with enormous sincerity, simplicity and authenticity. Thanks to them, we have been able to generate a real and sincere memory of what has happened in our land in this year that is now ending.
