ANOTHER AWARD FOR DISTRICT ZERO

In these photographs you can see Jorge with the award that District Zero has received at the International Ethnographic Documentary Festival in Espiello. It makes us special illusion that the award has been collected by Jorge, the youngest of the three directors of the film. And at the same time, the festival has delivered an honorific award to our friend and teacher Carmen Sarmiento. Seeing Jorge and Carmen smiling on stage, encourage us to believe in this and continue making documentaries. What some pioneers like Carmen began over thirty years ago, the new generations continue with increasing energy and enthusiasm. Arena is proud to be part of that.
