We just arreved from Cartagena de Indias, where Walls has been presented within the festival Ambulante Colombia. Cartagena was the last of the five Colombian cities where the festival was present. Migueltxo was there and discovered that the spirit and personality of this festival has a lot to do with the authentic, very close to the purest essence of what is cinema. Ambulante gives culture to everyone, projecting their stories in squares, rooftops, churches, universities, streets, yards and bridges. People are free to go, to go and stay to see the different documentaries that are projected. It has been a pleasure to have participated in a festival which aims to share breaking barriers, like our movie. Moreover, in a city where the day after the conclusion of Ambulante, after 50 years of hard conflict, collapsed another great wall that has been imprisoning Colombia for a long time, thanks to the signing of peace between the FARC and the government.
